Skiing

As a child living in the South of China, I had longed for snow always. Therefore, after one year traveled to Xuexiang (the northeast of China) in the winter, I went to Changbai Mountain every winter after school had ended to ski.

This video shows me skiing on the most difficult trail in that ski resort. A little stiff, but keeps going.

Scuba Diving

It is frustrating to just stay at the surface of the ocean and look at the beautiful coral extending deeper and deeper to the level where the blue of see blocks my eyesight.

Inspired by my mother, I went to take the course aiming for a certificate in scuba diving so that I could explore the unknown even more freely.

The outcome was definitely a PASS, and I became a Junior Scuba Diver, open water certified by NAUI.

Basketball

I was on the school woman basketball team in primary school. We trained every morning before school started and every afternoon after the class was over. Sometimes we got the chance to compete with other schools in Shenzhen. I learned a lot both technically and mentally.

Unfortunately, my ankle was sprained for the first time in Grade 6 then nearly once a year until the last summer. I could no longer jump and dribble the ball freely as before.

Unicycle

In primary school, I was also a member of the unicycle team. Invited by my art teacher at school, I joined the team and practiced it regularly for national competitions.

Home, elevator lobby, garden, and the school playground were all sites for me to practice.

The video shows the competition I took part in Shuangliu, Sichuan (2015).
